Every dollar raised will fund critical programs that enrich our school such as Teacher Grants, Author Visits, Dwight Reads, Field Trips, Green Team, Sunrise Sports, 5th Grade Activities, SEPTA, International Night, Teacher Appreciation, School Supplies, Library Enrichment, Dwight Writes, Bingo Night, School Beautification and so much more!
In order to meet our budget needs, we are asking that EACH STUDENT raise $150. We encourage you to approach your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and neighbors to solicit support for Dwight! Some parents have asked what the PTA spends per child; this year we are spending $200 per student for the entire year.
The 2025 appeal will run from October-December.
Our students will be awarded prizes based on funds raised and participation:
25% of our goal: music at lunch
50% of our goal: extra recess
75% of our goal: Fall Field Day!!!
